On-Going Plans for 2011

There will be an even stronger push this year for Art Education.
We have written a grant for funding for the restoration/renovation of the "Summer Kitchen" with the South Carolina  National Heritage Corridor. We had some issueyear with SC Archives & History but think we have cleared all of them up, so we hope to start the renovation process very soon.
The facility will be used as a Artist Studio/ class room.
In addition we have hopes that our "Artist in Residence" who will be occupying the studio will also be able to go into our public scholls in Colleton and surround Counties to teach types of art the our children are not always exposed to.
We will continue to work with the Colleton Museum's Super Saturday program as well as other events scheduled through the Colleton County schools.
