Kids just having FUN!
Colonial Colleton
Children and parents enjoyed another Super Saturday with this theme being "Colonial Colleton". Our visitors learned about Quilting, Weaving, Tatting and Toy Making. All the children made their own spinning top and then had a spinning contest. Everyone had such a great time at the Center before heading for the Museum for the 2nd half of their Saturday.
BUGGING OUT!!!!
Colleton Museum and the Center once again partner to hold a fun, entertaining and educational day for kids and their parents. At the Center, all participants had a chance to learn about stain glass from Alice French and each child left with their own “Bug” creation. Then,
Irving Schulman showed everyone how with just a little paint
in the right place, his wood fish would come to life. This was our 3rd Super Saturday.
COLLETON COUNTY SCHOOL CHILDREN

Colleton County School children visit the Artisans Center every year. They learn something new about art each time. On this visit, Ronnie Riddle taught them about cravings. Everyone felt successful leaving with their very own craved owl. The children also visit Historic Downtown Walterboro, the Colleton County Court House and the Colleton Museum. This project is made possible by through the CC Museum Director and her staff's hard work.
